Brian Burns, Founder and President of Ads Next™
Brian has over 10 years of experience with website development, marketing and advertising.
He started his career at The BaltimoreSun.com (then SunSpot.Net) as their first Web Advertising Consultant. He sold web banner promotions to all major markets and developed a partnership with a company call XIGroup.
He later joined XIGroup as Director of Business Development and helped develop their website software and services. His relationship with a local ad agency resulted in web solution work for most of the 120 Toyota dealers in the Central Atlantic region. From there they developed their own sales force and sold web solutions nationwide.
On April 22, 2005 XIGroup was sold to Trader Publishing (now Dominion Enterprises), a company with over one billion dollars in annual revenue. Brian ran XIGroup for two years as the General Manager before leaving to start Ads Next.
Brian now lives in Annapolis with his wife and son. They are expecting another child in April, 2008. He enjoys boating, snowboarding and hanging out with his family.
Kelly McGee, Internet Advertising Manager at Ads Next™
Kelly has over 5 years of experience with local internet advertising, search engine marketing and search engine optimization.
She started her career at Planet Discover as a Client Service Coordinator. She managed the local content of search engine databases for newspaper publishers.
She later joined Dealer Specialties as Lead Search Marketing Specialist. Kelly developed and managed the search marketing department. She managed over 80 client websites and increased revenue by 94% to nearly 1 million in annual revenue.
Kelly joined AdsNext in October of 2007 as their Internet Marketing Specialist. She is responsible for managing Ads Next's online marketing initiatives.
Kelly now lives in Cincinnati. She enjoys hiking, basketball, and traveling. She is also a huge Cincinnati Bengals fan.
Jan Go, Lead Programmer
Jan brings over seven years of web development experience to AdsNext. She received her B.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University in 2001 and started her career at XIGroup, where she met Brian. During her employment with XIGroup, she developed inventory database management tools, campaign management and lead generation tools, and reports demonstrating website usage and trends.
In April 2007, Jan resigned from XIGroup to explore her interests in photography and to start her own web consulting and development company. Through professional relationships and new referrals, she is excited to expand her business further and to keep up with the latest internet technologies.
Jan is also owner of Micket LLC and currently lives in Baltimore. In her spare time she enjoys travel, the outdoors and photography.
Jeffrey Brian Fisher, Lead Designer
Jeff has seven years of website design experience and a lifetime of drawing.
He has been drawing all his life. In '92 he travelled north to Buffalo where he studied under illustrators Alan Cober, Kathleen Collins Howell, Scott Swales and Joel Peter Johnson. Three years and much drawing later he returned with BFA in hand.
In 2000 Jeff joined XIGroup where he began his career in web design. Jeff was the lead designer for 5 years. He worked on website design and integration for colleges, financial companies and car dealers.
In 2005 his desire to illustrate stirred once more and he set out on his own. Now he comfortably balances his illustrative pursuits while continuing to remain sharp in his design skills and also current with the latest CSS integration methods as owner of Cloverfish.com.
